Throughout the series, we witness the dynamic grandpa and grandson duo going on crazy interdimensional adventures. The series also includes many other "Zany, wacky characters" that introduce a fantastic humorous plot.
The episodes usually consist of Rick and Morty going on an adventure to a different dimension. Rick has a Portal gun that shoots out a green and yellow glowing portal that lets them travel to a different dimension. They also always encounter some kind of trouble on these adventures which also adds some suspense, but one character always says a crude quote which gives us some comic relief. The show constantly "bleeps" out the curse words but you can infer what they say. So with that being said this show is very crude, but it is still family friendly. Each episode is around twenty two minutes long and they are always action packed until the end. The episodes never get boring, its always a new and crazy adventure. Some of the best adventures are when Rick and Morty go to different dimensions and get into fights with the people who inhabit that dimension. Rick and Morty also makes lots of references to our world such as talking about Minecraft, movies such as Ghostbusters and Inception which helps us relate to them and adds some humor.
Rick and Morty is offered on the streaming services such as Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, youtube and can be watched on live TV on Cartoon Network. The show is very enjoyable and can be binged in a few days. If you want the best experience, it's crucial that you watch within a few days because there are so many characters that you might not remember them and some episodes continue into other episodes, for example the episode with "Evil Morty". There are also characters names that are really distinct and easy to remember, such as Mr. Poopybutthole and Abradolf Lincler, which helps us as we progress through the series.
